“Cancer Ferreus” — Black Salt

Black salt has been used in many traditions over the years for protection and warding. Preventing negative attachments from crossing boundaries like door ways and windows. Some people even add it in their wards to prevent baneful castings or emotions from affecting you. Repelling and neutralizing anything preemptively from reaching you that can cross your roads. To make it yourself, simply mix ashes from left over campfires or charcoal and salt! Some traditions add crushed egg shells or sea shells or what ever they feel called to!
